My name is Deepankar Battacharya. I graduated from a recognized Indian university. I speak English, Hindi and Bengoli. 
I have been teaching Hindi to foreigners for 10 years, tailoring the lessons to whichever need or interest they may have. I have also done translations from literary or other type of Hindi into English. I can arrange homestays for students if required.
I am also teaching by skype. Students who are learning Hindi in foreign universities can also take Hindi lessons by skype with me.
In addition to teaching, I also write poetry. I have been writing for the past 15 years, and have been published in magazines and newspapers. My poetry readings have been broadcast by All India Radio. I have performed live poetry recitals, and several of my poems have been sung in compositions made by renowned singers.
